Practice Summary
Carrie successfully pursued her first appeal, winning affirmance of an appeal from the bankruptcy court to the district court,
just 3 months after having been admitted to the bar.
She also has handled several sensitive and delicate matters involving legal status and competence of elderly people who called upon Carrie to maintain their independent living arrangements over the objections of their adult children. Carrie has appeared on several probate matters in Lake County. She continues to develop an expertise in estate planning, specifically advising clients on asset protection and avoiding probate.
