Sharanya maintains strong roots with her family in India and is an active member of the Chicago Tamil Association. Through the Chicago Tamil Association, Sharanya has participated in various cultural activities such as debates, stage plays and stage concerts. Sharanya is part of a south Indian musical troupe “Chicago Friends Melody” through which she has organized and participated in various stage concerts throughout the Chicagoland area

Practice Summary
Sharanya represents both creditors and debtors in the Bankruptcy Court. She handles civil matters in Cook, Lake,
McHenry and DuPage counties, including contested matters in probate, chancery and bankruptcy court. Sharanya continues
to develop an expertise in defending mortgage foreclosures, specifically matters related to the Truth in Lending Act
and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act.
