From start-up to winding-up, we provide full service to our clients. Here are some examples of companies we helped organize and continue to represent. Case Study
In 2008, our Spanish-speaking clients consulted Lakelaw. Having worked in restaurants for years, they wanted to open their own. For a reasonable flat fee, we formed a limited liability company, we negotiated their lease and we reviewed their franchise agreement and franchise disclosure statement. And we conducted this business entirely in the Spanish language. To help our new business clients get off to a good start, we provide corporate services at a reduced fee for the first 6 months of the business and require no further payments during those six months.
We counsel people about business planning, introduce them to an accountants and banks, help arrange for an initial line of credit, including SBA loans and assure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements.
In each of these cases, we helped the founders create their dreams. And we continue to help them on a day-to-day basis as they live their dreams. We make it easy for them to do so, on either a convenient monthly retainer that fits their budget or on an “as-needed” basis. We offer a special “start-up” fee arrangement to help our small business clients get off to a sound start.
